How to Play PartyCrasher

A social deduction game for 3-8 players

The Setup

Everyone joins a game room using a shared code. When the host starts the game, each player secretly sees their screen:

Partygoers (most players)

You see the party theme (e.g., "Beach Party"). Your goal is to find the crasher!

The Party Crasher (1 player)

You DON'T see the theme - just that you're the crasher. Blend in and figure out what kind of party it is!

How to Play

Players take turns asking each other questions about the party. The goal is to ask questions that:

  • Help you identify who doesn't know the theme (the crasher)
  • Don't give away too much info (or the crasher will figure it out)

Theme: Beach Party

Good question: "What would you bring to this party?"

Partygoer answer: "Sunscreen and a towel"

Crasher answer: "Uhh... snacks?" (vague but safe)

Tip: Be vague enough that the crasher can't easily guess, but specific enough that other partygoers know you're legit!

Winning the Game

After a few rounds of questions (you decide when), everyone votes on who they think is the crasher.

  • Partygoers win if they correctly identify the crasher
  • Crasher wins if they're not caught, OR if they can correctly guess the party theme when accused

Quick Tips

  • For Partygoers: Watch for vague or confused answers. Ask follow-up questions!
  • For the Crasher: Listen carefully to other answers for clues. Give answers that could fit multiple themes.
  • Everyone: Don't be too obvious! The best games happen when everyone is slightly suspicious.
